The method comprises the following steps of: when an IPv6/IPv4 client initiates access to an IPv4/IPv6 network by using a domain name of the IPv4/IPv6 network, through SDN query, request data transfer and control and conversion of a record query request, the IPv4/IPv6 receives the converted record query request, queries and obtains a domain name which is the domain name in the network, and replies a record query response carrying an IPv4/IPv6 address; transferring, translating and replying is carried out again through the SDN, the IPv6/IPv4 client sends a first data packet by taking the received translated address as a destination address; and after being transferred and translated through the SDN,the data packet is sent to the IPv4/IPv6 network and a reply data packet of the IPv4/IPv6 network is received, then the data packet is translated into a fourth data packet and sent to the IPv6/IPv4 client, and the IPv6/IPv4 client receives the fourth data packet.
