Abstract

The embodiment of the invention discloses a method and a device for detecting a green screen image, and the method comprises the steps: obtaining a to-be-processed target image in a currently played target video, and dividing the target image into a specified number of sub-blocks, wherein pixel points in the target image are represented by a first component, a second component and a third component; respectively determining a first component value, a second component value and a third component value with highest distribution in the sub-blocks, and respectively calculating distribution proportions of the first component value, the second component value and the third component value in the sub-blocks; based on the first component value, the second component value and the third component value, judging whether the sub-block is a green screen sub-block or not; and counting the total number of the green screen sub-blocks in the target image, and if the total number is smaller than or equal to a specified threshold, judging that the target image is not a green screen image.
