The preparation method comprises the following steps: firstly, preparing the corelayer, coating surfaces of granules of the core layer by a mixed material of the inner shell layer so as to form granules of the inner shell layer in the rolling process, finally, preparing materialsof the outer shell layer so as to obtain a homogenate, spraying the homogenate to surfaces of the granules of the inner shell layer, and performing drying, so as to obtain a finished product of the composite cat litter.
