Abstract

The invention provides application of miR-6858 in preventing and treating glioma through melatonin and belongs to the technical field of biomedicines. Specifically, the invention finds that melatoninhas a good antitumor function on cells U251, U87, A172 and GBM#P3. Meanwhile, through miRNA (micro ribonucleic acid) sequencing on GBM (glioblastoma multiforme) cells treated by using melatonin, target miRNA is found, growth of the GBM cells can be inhibited by increasing miR-6858 through the melatonin, and furthermore, an SIRT3 / AKT signal channel can be inhibited. The invention illuminates molecule mechanisms based on interactions melatonin and miRNA, and an effective treatment strategy is provided for treatment on GBM.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention belongs to the technical field of biomedicine, and in particular relates to the application of miR-6858 in preventing and treating glioma with melatonin. Background technique [0002] The information disclosed in this background section is only intended to increase the understanding of the general background of the present invention, and is not necessarily taken as an acknowledgment or any form of suggestion that the information constitutes the prior art already known to those skilled in the art. [0003] Glioblastoma multiforme (GBM) is the most common and deadly primary malignancy in the brain. Although some progress has been made in surgery and comprehensive treatment for glioblastoma patients, the life expectancy of diagnosed patients is only 12-14 months. Therefore, new therapeutic strategies are urgently needed to improve the prognosis of glioblastoma patients. [0004] MicroRNAs (miRNAs) are small, highly conserved non-coding RNA...
