The system and method for protecting the automated systems comprise constructing safe configured based onAS architecture data so as to accord with the safe configuration for ensuring a safety level of AS equipment, installing a data transmission application on the gateway of an AS network by means of thesafe configuration, and transmitting data from one of AS equipment through the data transmission application so that the action of the data transmission application is defined by the safe configuration.
