Abstract

The invention provides a non-circular signal azimuth estimation method under an unknown mutual coupling condition of a uniform circular array. The method comprises the steps of constructing a mutual coupling coefficient matrix of the uniform circular array, obtaining an output signal model, solving a fourth-order cumulant matrix, performing singular value decomposition on the fourth-order cumulantmatrix, and solving a signal subspace and a noise subspace; performing matrix-vector transformation on the steering vector, finally obtaining a spatial spectrum by utilizing orthogonality between thesteering vector and a noise subspace, performing rank reduction decomposition operation on the spatial spectrum, performing one-dimensional spectrum peak search on an azimuth angle in the spatial spectrum, finding out a wave direction angle, and achieving the purpose of direction finding.
