Abstract

The invention provides a task peer-to-peer unloading method and a task peer-to-peer unloading device in a multi-access edge computing system. In the multi-access edge computing MEC system, an MEC server is deployed on a baseband unit pool side to construct edge clouds, and the edge clouds are interconnected through a metropolitan area optical network. The task peer-to-peer unloading method comprises the following steps of: determining a task needing peer-to-peer unloading based on a task delay value in a local server of user equipment; selecting an unloading target MEC server for the task needing peer-to-peer unloading based on a genetic algorithm, and allocating routing resources and spectrum resources to the task needing peer-to-peer unloading; and based on a proportional fairness method, allocating computing resources to the task needing to be unloaded to the target MEC server in a peer-to-peer mode and the tasks in the local MEC server. The task peer-to-peer unloading method provided by the embodiment of the invention improves the delay performance of the task and the utilization rate of system resources.

Description

technical field [0001] The present invention relates to the field of optical networks, and more specifically, the present invention relates to a task peer-to-peer offloading method and device in a multi-access edge computing system. Background technique [0002] As one of the core technologies of 5G, Multi-access Edge Computing (MEC) has broad development prospects. MEC is a technology that provides cloud computing capabilities at the edge of the mobile network by pushing cloud resources down to the edge of the network. These capabilities are provided by edge computing servers. By offloading computing tasks to MEC servers instead of remote core cloud computing centers, User devices can access computing resources with low latency. Cloud Radio Access Network (C-RAN) is considered to be an important technology conversion for integrating MEC and 5G architecture. It aggregates all base station computing resources including MEC into a central pool, which is called a base-band un...
