Computerized process to, for example, automate the home sale, mortgage loan financing and settlement process, and the home mortgage loan refinancing and settlement processes

In some embodiments, a comprehensive computer system and method (See FIGS. 1, 1a, 2) for automating and facilitating the performing and processing of tasks, information transfer, and information storage associated with the home sale (See FIG. 3a), mortgage origination (See FIG. 3b), and settlement process (See FIG. 3c), and the home mortgage refinancing origination and settlement process (See FIGS. 1b, 1c, 2a) (or performing other business processes), over a distributed computing network are disclosed. One aspect of the invention is a greatly simplified process for a home buyer to search for a home and simultaneously receive accurate and competitive bids for mortgages and services from multiple lenders and service providers. The process includes an automated underwriting process which generates complete, accurate information on the costs of buying and owning a home at very beginning of the home buying process. Another aspect of the invention is greatly automating the entire sale, loan and settlement process.

System and method for non-interactive human answerable challenges

A system and method for automatically determining if a computer user is a human or an automated script. Human interactive proofs (HIPs) are currently used to deter automated registration for web services by automated computer scripts. Unfortunately, HIPs entail multiple steps (request service, receive challenge, respond to challenge) that can be burdensome. The system and method of the invention in one embodiment provides a “black-box” to potential users consisting of a challenge generator and a secret key. The challenge is generated for the user and the response can be provided as part of the service request, eliminating the need for a separate challenge from a service provider and response to the challenge.

Methods and systems for the manufacture of layered three-dimensional forms

New methods and systems for manufacturing a three-dimensional form, comprising steps of providing a plurality of particulates; contacting the particulates with an activation agent; contacting particulates having the activation agent with a binder material that is activatable by the activation agent; at least partially hardening the binder for forming a layer of the three-dimensional form; and repeating these steps to form the remainder of the three-dimensional form. Following sequential application of all required layers and binder material to make the form, the unbound particles are appropriately removed (and optionally re-used), to result in the desired three-dimensional form. The invention also contemplates a novel method for preparing a form, where unbound particulates free of binder material are re-claimed.

Techniques for jitter buffer delay management

Techniques are provided to allow a jitter buffer to automatically reach a quiescent number of packets in the jitter buffer, based on current network conditions. Generally, no explicit jitter buffer delay is assumed, and a current packet is repeat played if no new packets are available in the jitter buffer. If there are too many packets in the jitter buffer, a newly received packet is discarded. When a packet is replayed, the delay associated with a jitter buffer is effectively increased. This is not an explicit jitter buffer delay, but, instead, there is an implicit delay associated with the jitter buffer. When a packet is discarded, the delay associated with a jitter buffer is effectively decreased. Again, this is an implicit jitter buffer delay. By repeat playing packets and discarding packets when the jitter buffer is full, an appropriate level of packets may be determined and maintained in the jitter buffer.

Optimal buffered routing path constructions for single and multiple clock domains systems

A method, computer program product, and data processing system for automatically designing routing paths in an integrated circuit is disclosed. The present invention allows for the design of paths that are optimal in terms of the signal delay in circuits that may require registers for signal to travel over multiple clock cycles or in circuits that may contain multiple clock domains. An integrated circuit die is modeled as a weighted grid graph in which the edges represent wire segments and the weights represent the delays associated with those wire segments. Designing for optimum delay involves finding a shortest path between two vertices in the grid graph using a modified single-source shortest path algorithm. Registers, buffers, and dual-clock domain synchronizers are modeled according to a labeling function that assigns components to selected vertices in the routing path for optimal results.

Magnetic resonance apparatus and data acquisition method with decoupling between transmit and receive coils

In magnetic resonance data acquisition, decoupling between the transmit and receive coils is achieved by using a transmit array system wherein induced currents from the transmit coils cancel each other, resulting in a total of zero current in the receive coil. Forward and reversed polarized transmit coil pairs are set to cancel the individual currents of each other, or of a receive coil. Linearly polarized fields can also be used to effect the decoupling. The decoupling allows the magnetic resonance data acquisition system to be operated for concurrent excitation of the nuclear spins and reception of the resulting magnetic resonance signals.
