Abstract

The invention discloses a communication path selection method and device. The method comprises the following steps: maintaining configuration information of at least one channel state information reference signal CSI-RS in an idle state; when a source end router detects that the communication between the source end router and a host end router fails, selecting an optimal routing path from the source end router to the host end router from a backbone network; and determining an optimal routing path as a communication path between the source end router and the host end router, and sending CSI-RSinformation corresponding to the configuration information of the at least one CSI-RS to a serving base station when the idle state is recovered to a connected state. Thus, in the 4over6 mesh network,when a certain communication on the IPv6 backbone network fails, the optimal routing path from the source end router to the host end router is selected from the backbone network, and the selected optimal routing path is used as the communication path between the source end router and the host end router, so that the purpose that the IPv4 networks based on the communication can still communicate with each other can be achieved.
