The invention provides an IDC machine room power supply system based on a distributed UPS. The system comprises a high-voltage power distribution cabinet, a transformer and a low-voltage power distribution cabinet which are connected in sequence; the low-voltage power distribution cabinet is branched into multiple paths of secondary busbars extending into an IDC machine room through a primary busbar; each path of secondary busbar supplies power to a column of cabinets in the IDC machine room; each cabinet is connected to the secondary busbar through a plug-in module; each cabinet is provided with a plurality of IT devices; and each IT device is provided with a set of UPS. According to the power supply requirement of the IT devices, the UPSs can be set as 1N or 2N power supply architectures; and storage batteries in the UPSs are lithium batteries. According to the system of the invention, one set of UPS is arranged for each IT device in each cabinet, so that uninterrupted power supply of each IT device in the cabinet can still be ensured even if an external power supply of the cabinet fails; even if a certain set of UPS fails, only the corresponding IT device cannot work normally, and power supply breakdown of the whole cabinet and the whole IDC machine room will be avoided.
