The actual full charge capacity of the battery is compared with the design capacity of the battery. The charge voltage and the charge current in adjusting step is used for controlling the charging operation of the battery. This invention determines the charging station, if the nonce full charge capacity is less than the design capacity, the charging operation of the battery is controlled by the adjusted charge voltage and charge current which are adjusted by decreasing charge current and increasing charge voltage.
