The invention discloses a method for inputting specific information by keyboard that includes: 11) the information original code corresponding with the specific buttons or button combination in the firmware program of keyboard controller is converted into character string with specific information; 12) press the specific buttons or button combination, and the keyboard will output the character string with specific information. The converted work can be done when entering the BIOS at the time of turning on the computer in said step 11). It can be realized by special software as following steps: 31) receive the custom requests under the operation system interface; 32) the custom requests are written on the internal memory of digital device or the assigned address of CMOS; 33) enter the BIOS state; 34) read the custom requests from the internal memory or the assigned address of CMOS; 35) rewrite the firmware program of keyboard controller according to the custom requests in the step 34).
