An oral care implement package is described herein. The oral care implement package can have a backer with a vapor impermeable layer attached thereto. The backer is attached to a plastic shell. An oral care implement having a scented tongue cleaner and/or a scented handle is positioned between the plastic shell and the vapor impermeable layer.
