High effectiveness cooled turbine vane or blade

A robust multiple-walled, multi-pass, high cooling effectiveness cooled turbine vane or blade designed for ease of manufacturability, minimizes cooling flows on highly loaded turbine rotors. The vane or blade design allows the turbine inlet temperature to increase over current technology levels while simultaneously reducing turbine cooling to low levels. A multi-wall cooling system is described, which meets the inherent conflict to maximize the flow area of the cooling passages while retaining the required section thickness to meet the structural requirements. Independent cooling circuits for the vane or blade's pressure and suction surfaces allow the cooling of the airfoil surfaces to be tailored to specific heat load distributions (that is, the pressure surface circuit is an independent forward flowing serpentine while the suction surface is an independent rearward flowing serpentine). The cooling air for the independent circuits is supplied through separate passages at the base of the vane or blade. The cooling air follows intricate passages to feed the serpentine thin outer wall passages, which incorporate pin fins, turbulators, etc. These passages, while satisfying the aero/thermal/stress requirements, are of a manufacturing configuration that may be cast with single crystal materials using conventional casting techniques.

The invention discloses a self-adapting special interference suppressing technology aim at phased array radar. The conventional phased array radar can suppress the noise to inhibit the interference by self-adapting, firstly the interference data received by the radar receiver can be learned then to form a zero point on the interference direction. The zero point depth and width generated by the conventional processing method all can be influenced by the array error and are not suitable for the special interferences, such as the dense cheating interference, the movement interference, the fast transforming clearance type interference or the composite interference and so on complicated interference forms. Adopting the ultra-lower secondary lobe aerial is the most effective anti-interference method, but under the present technology and technological level, the over-high secondary lobe requirement for the phased array aerial is impractical. The invention can implement the estimations of the interference source number and the orientation by the space spectrum estimating technology firstly, and then can construct the interfering data covariance matrix by using the analog signals, then can obtain the self-adapting minor lobe cancellation weight vector calculated by the self-adapting method, thereby forming the wide zero point and deep zero defect self-adapting directional diagram to inhibit the complicated interferences. The technology of the invention can be used for the signal processing system of the phased array radar, the implementing is simple, and the invention has wide practical application prospects.

A system and related techniques monitor the operation of networked computer services, such as Internet-based search or other services which may link to a set of server resources, supporting databases and other components. In current technology if a large-scale or other search service encounters a problem in one supporting platform, the overall response may be interrupted or hang. In embodiments for example a search engine which attempts to access a travel, shopping, news or other database or service in response to a user search request may suspend the delivery of the search results, or blank the page with a 404 or other error message, due to the. unavailability of one or two databases or other components. The service support platform of the invention on the other hand may monitor the computer services network and detect the occurrence of a failure or performance lag, and temporarily detach the faulted server or other resource from the larger network service. In embodiments a user's Web page may be adapted to omit a panel of information related to that suspended service or component, so that for example an icon for a travel map or hotel reservation tool may be grayed out or removed while still presenting the remainder of the services or options. Users may therefore still access the majority of the Web service they are attempting to use, without interruption or noticeable lag.

The invention relates to a method for monitoring the circumferential strain of a casing by applying optical-fiber grating sensors, which mainly solves the problem that an electric-resistance strain gauge adopted of the current technology for monitoring the circumferential deformation of the casing is easy to be affected by electromagnetism in a well and corrosion, thus causing a measured circumferential strain signal of the casing to be inaccurate. The method is characterized in that: the optical-fiber grating sensors are arranged outside the casing along the circumferential direction of the casing, wherein, a plurality of optical-fiber grating sensors are evenly arranged around the casing; sections of adjacent intervals form a certain angle; an optical-fiber temperature compensating sensor is arranged in a position at a corresponding distance away from the group of sensors; the optical-fiber grating sensors are applied to monitoring the circumferential deformation and stress status of the casing within certain ranges; meanwhile, the temperature compensating sensor is applied to serving the temperature compensation and temperature monitoring in the well of the strain sensor; the sensors transmit underground signals to the ground by a transmission optical cable; and the signals can be transformed into the circumferential strain information of the casing after a demodulation instrument obtains the signals and carries out secondary treatment. The method is characterized by not being affected by the underground electromagnetism.
