Benefits of technology

The present invention is an automated system and apparatus for total body imaging which allows for quick and precise capture of body images of a user in predetermined poses. The system includes an imaging station / booth that automatically captures body images of a user when they position themselves in the predetermined poses. The imaging station / booth is compact and safe, with patient privacy during imaging. The system determines if the user is correctly positioned for a pose and communicates the positioning to the user before capturing the image. The key feature of the system is its ability to interface with electronic medical records, allowing medical professionals to make diagnoses without being present during the imaging process. The system can include a plurality of cameras, body positioning members, a display screen, speakers, and an enclosed interior area. The invention enables quick and accurate skin abnormality detection and skin cancer screening without the need for human presence.

Problems solved by technology

Although skin cancer cases are on the rise, early detection of skin cancer can play a significant role in its treatment and the costs associated with treatment.
