System and method for non-lethal vehicle restraint

An undercarriage immobilization device and method of restraining a vehicle uses tendrils and straps to engage the vehicle. The tendrils and straps will wrap around moving parts of the vehicle and restrain the moving parts to eventually incapacitate the vehicle. The undercarriage immobilization device includes a housing that contains tendrils that are launched from the housing by a propellant or compressed gas. The tendrils may be attached to the straps carried by the undercarriage immobilization device. Straps may be pulled off the housing leaving the housing near the point of deployment.

Non-lethal modular crowd control munition

A modular crowd control munition 10 fires a large number of non-lethal soft pellets into a crowd 100 using an explosive charge. The munition 10 contains a pellet matrix 22 that houses the soft pellets 40, and uses a low energy explosive sheet material 50 at the back of the munition 10 to disperse the soft pellets 40. The munition 10 is used for close-in, "last resort", crowd control to replace the necessity of using deadly force.

Demolition charge having multi-primed initiation system

A demolition charge system has a multi-primed initiation system with a rigid container having interconnected thin end walls, side walls, a base and a lid. The lid continuously fits onto the end and side walls to cover and contain an internal chamber. Each of the ends walls has a threaded opening longitudinally aligned with each other. An elongated thin-walled tube longitudinally extends through the internal chamber and has threaded ends engaging inner portions of the threaded openings to securely hold the tube in the container. At least one demolition initiator is capable of longitudinally extending in the tube and a main charge in the internal chamber is positionable in abutting contact along the tube to assure demolition. Magnets assure magnetic securing of the demolition system on a ferrous target.

Smart mine

The invention provides a smart mine. The smart mine is composed of a central control system, a detection sensing system against mine clearance, a power source, a safety insurance system, an ignition control system, accessory equipment and the like. The mine can sense information which is generated by all the measures of mine clearance through various sensors and be detonated instantaneously, and movement of the mine or radioscopy can also detonate the mine, i.e. the mine cannot be eliminated, destroyed, disabled and transferred by any measure of mine clearance. Thus, the mine can be reliably detonated at a scheduled time in a scheduled place. In addition, when the cipher instruction is input as required, a part of detection sensing devices and the function of timing detonation of the mine are disabled by the central control system, and the central control system starts the function of time-delay self-destruction at the same time, thus the mine can be transferred to a safe place within a limited period of time and then detonated and self-destroyed. A combat theory derived from the mine provided by the invention is discussed in the specification.

Munitions mines

Mines are fabricated in the form of munitions, specifically including cartridges for firearms and several types of grenade, including both hand grenades and rocket-propelled grenades, the cartridges containing either very high energy explosives or very high temperature burning materials, that upon ignition will at least destroy the firearm in which fired or may exert lethal force against the user, while such mines in the form of grenades will explode immediately upon being activated rather than exhibit the expected time delay, both types of mines being supplied surreptitiously to an enemy force for its unknowing use, thereby to direct the lethal effect of such munitions against those enemy forces rather than the friendly forces as the enemy forces would have intended.

Human Identification Detection System

The invention provides a system, device and method designed to detect, alert and identify unwanted entry into areas by intruders. The invention is also designed to prevent escape from secured facilities. If escape from such a secured facility is realized, the system will identify and mark the intruder or escapee for immediate or later capture by local and or federal law enforcement authorities. The system will accomplish this by mechanical, electronic and chemical means. The system is also designed to be a territory denial system. Although the system will accomplish its means by clandestine deployment, the unseen but known presence of the device will cause a profound psychological block to any would be intruder to a given area that it is deployed in. The devices are deployed below ground just below the surface as a non-lethal landmine and subterranean several feet below ground as an anti-tunneling device.

Passive Alarm To Prevent Buried Infrastructure Damage

A method and apparatus are disclosed for preventing excavation damage to buried infrastructure. A plurality of excavation-sensing modules is buried near the buried infrastructure. The modules protect buried infrastructure by emitting dense clouds of highly visible gas when the modules are activated by impact with excavation equipment. In most cases the visible gas will be brightly colored and it may also have a strong odor and may produce a loud sound when the module is activated. The dense clouds of highly visible gas, the optional odor and loud sound alert construction crews or other workers that their excavation is nearing a protected underground structure. Once installed, no maintenance or active monitoring is required. In a preferred embodiment of the excavation-sensing module, the dense cloud of highly visible gas is produced by ignition of a smoke grenade within the module. In the preferred embodiment, the smoke grenade is ignited by the interaction of the excavator striking and breaking the buried module. Also in the preferred embodiment, the excavator will normally pull the ignited smoke grenade out of the buried module and to the surface increasing the visibility of the gas. Also in the preferred embodiment, a more reliable design for ignition of the smoke grenade is disclosed.

Ad-hoc network intelligent land mine

The invention discloses an ad-hoc network intelligent land mine. The intelligent land mine comprises an explosion body and an intelligent networking control system. In the system, an operation processing module controls a data transmission module to send networking signals in real time to other land mines around, and receives feedback signals and establishes real-time communication link, to complete ad-hoc network. After ad-hoc network is completed, a time service naming module is controlled to timing and name land mines. The operation processing module receives identity identification data of a target which enters an attack range in real time, and determines whether to attack or not, and performs attack calculation according to detection data uploaded by a sensing module and detection data sent by other land mines in the ad-hoc network, the detection data sent by other land mines being received by the data transmission module, so as to form a corresponding attack instruction, and the instruction is sent to an attack control module. The attack control module controls attack orientation and time of the explosion body according to the attack instruction. The ad-hoc network intelligent land mine realizes the ad-hoc network and intelligent control, and effectively solves problems in the prior art.
