Abstract

The present invention provides a vehicle body structure that can achieve a good appearance when a door is opened, can sufficiently secure mounting rigidity on one side of a door, and can directly join a door and an extended fender. A cover portion is provided at the lower end of the extended fender, and a first mounting hole and a second mounting hole are formed in a wheel arch peripheral portion of the door. The first mounting hole penetrates the door outer panel and the door inner panel, and the second mounting hole penetrates the door outer panel. A closed space is formed in which the door outer panel and the door inner panel are separated from each other in a region separated from the first mounting hole in the bending direction of the peripheral edge portion of the wheel arch.
