Abstract

A document acquiring unit in the invention, acquires document image data containing documents with images having a size larger than a size of a screen of a display unit; and a display control data appointing an order for reading the documents and a range of document image data to be displayed. A display control unit controls display of the appointed range by moving a display region on the screen based on the appointed order. A judging unit judges whether a width of a range of the acquired document image data in a row direction is wider than a width of the screen. The display control unit moves the display region according to a judged result of the judging unit.
