Abstract

A cross section of each of the three cylindrical rods is square, rectangular or circular. Two ends of each of the three cylindrical rods are frustums of a prism or frustums of a cone. The three-linkage wave-absorbing block with the structure has the advantages of simple form, large porosity, good wave-absorption effect, high block stability, small material consumption and convenient construction. Compared with artificial blocks, the three-linkage wave-absorbing block is a novel armor block with excellent overall performance. The novel armor block has high practicality and wide promotion and use prospects. The wave-absorbing block is applicable to various protection projects such as port breakwaters, sea reclamation levees, bank revetments and the like, and particular to areas with poor natural conditions such as deep water waves and so on.
