The method comprises the following steps: a carrier wave subset needing feedback of CQI information is confirmed; the carrier wave subset is composed of at least one carrier wave in a multiple carrier wave system; a terminal adopts at least one carrier wave to feedback the confirmed CQI information in the carrier wave subset. Furthermore, the carrier waves in the carrier wave subset can feedback the CQI information within a preset time period. The embodiment of the invention can achieve the technical effects that the terminal sends the channel quality instruction to a base station and saves CQI feedback information in the multiple carrier wave system.
