Abstract

The invention relates to a novel multifunctional cutting bed of a corn harvester, which consists of an upper cutting bed and a lower cutting bed, wherein the upper cutting bed comprises a seedling snapping unit and an ear picking device; and the lower cutting bed is provided with a straw conveyor and a stirring cage is connected with the straw conveyor in front and connected with a straw conveying device at back. The cutting bed is characterized in that: the upper cutting bed is fixed with a machine frame; the lower cutting bed is hinged together with the machine frame; and a following frame is fixedly arranged on the bottom surface of the front part of the lower cutting bed, flexible belts are symmetrically arranged on the two side ends of a lower cutting bed at positions corresponding to the following frame, and the other ends of the flexible belts are arranged on the upper cutting bed. In the invention, the fixedly arranged following frame can realize the following of the cutting bed with the landform in the field, so that operation can be performed according to different field landforms and different corn states and the operation efficiency and quality of the harvester are improved.
