Abstract

The invention relates to an intelligent body protection device and a protection method thereof. Due to the adoption of the intelligent body protection device and the method thereof, the reliability and the rapidness of the tripping operation are improved. The intelligent body protection device comprises a CPU (central processing unit) and a relay. One path of non-electricity protection signal outputs a tripping signal TZ by utilizing the relay; the other path of non-electricity protection signal is sent to the CPU and the CPU sends a signal record XH; the CPU is also additionally provided with two paths of inputs; one path of input is a DGA (Dissolved Gas Analysis) control word determined by a user; the other path of input is DGA information; the DGA information comprises early warning information sent out by a DGA unit and information of various component gases dissolved in transformer oil; the DGA information is sent out by a GOOSE (Generic Object Oriented Substation Event) / MMS (Multimedia Messaging Service) form; after the DGA information is judged by the CPU, a tripping signal TZ1 and a signal record XH1 are output; and the tripping signals TZ and TZ1 are connected in parallel to a tripping circuit and are both used for realizing tripping of a transformer. In the scheme, DGA (Dissolved Gas Analysis) on-line monitoring information is introduced to improve the reliability and the rapidness of protection of a transformer body and the intelligent body protection device and the protection method thereof are convenient to analyze the condition of the body protection operation later.
