Disclosed is an insulation resistance measurement device that can detect an insulation failure in a DC circuit, safely and with high sensitivity, using a simple detection circuit. Said insulation resistance measurement device (1) measures the insulation resistance with respect to ground of a DC power supply circuit (2), and is provided with: connection terminals (6A, 6B) for connecting to the positive electrode (3A) and the negative electrode (3B) of a series power source (4); switch elements (7A, 7B) that are connected between the connection terminals (6A, 6B) and ground potential and that switch between the connection terminals (6A, 6B) and ground potential; resistance elements (8A, 8B) connected between the respective connection terminals (6A, 6B) and ground potential via the switch elements (7A, 7B); and a voltage detection unit (9) that detects the voltage drops in the resistance elements (8A, 8B).
