The invention relates to a long-distance introduction and afforestation method of acidosasa edulis, which belongs to the technical field of production of forestry. The long-distance introduction and afforestation method mainly comprises the steps of selection of afforestation land, land preparation, selection of parent bamboos, planting and management of a bamboo garden, and is characterized by selecting the acidosasa edulis which are in diameter of 2-3cm, 1-2 years old and robust in growth as the parent bamboos, and the parent bamboos need to be processed as follows: (1) cutting off incomingroots and outgoing roots of the parent bamboos before transplanting, retaining the incoming roots by 25-30cm, and retaining the outgoing roots by 30-45cm, wherein the time for cutting off is between August and September; (2) digging an annular groove with the depth of 30cm and the width of 20cm around each parent bamboo in the position wherein the incoming roots and the outgoing roots of the parent bamboo are cut off, and applying an organic fertilizer in each groove; and (3) digging up the parent bamboos together with original soil along the annular grooves when the parent bamboos are transplanted, and retaining 4-6 circles of branches after digging up the parent bamboos.
