Abstract

The invention provides a resource sharing method, which is used for sharing a multimedia file. The method is applied to a video conference system. The video conference system comprises at least one computer, a local video terminal, a multiple control unit and at least one remote video terminal. The method comprises the following steps that: (a) the computers analyze the format of the multimedia file, judge whether the local video terminal supports the format or not, and executes a step (b) if the local video terminal supports the format; and (b) the computers transmit the multimedia file to the local video terminal and the multiple control unit, and the multiple control unit forwards the multimedia file to the remote video terminals.
