According to the method, records of brilliant clips needing to be played continuously are obtained, index files are compiled and set up according to the play sequence, in the playback process, a corresponding game video, a starting position and an end position are found out according to a first play node, video data are output and played, when the data are played till S seconds before the out-point of the first play node, according to a corresponding game video of a second play node, and starting positions and end positions of the brilliant clips, video data corresponding to the second play node begin to be preread, the preread data are stored in a memory, when playing of the first play node is finished, the preread data in the memory are directly read from the memory, output and played, and the rest can be done in the same manner until playing of all the play nodes is finished, so that seamless play is achieved. According to the method, the brilliant clips can be adjusted forward or backward according to the actual needs, human input for multi-view video capture in the live broadcast process can be reduced greatly, and man-made faulty operation is effectively reduced.
