Embodiment Construction

[0025] The preferred embodiments of the present invention will be described in detail below in conjunction with the accompanying drawings.

[0026] figure 1 It is a schematic diagram of an application scenario according to a specific embodiment of the present invention; the EPON system is composed of three parts: OLT, optical distribution network ODN, and ONU, and the types of service flows that may be carried include Ethernet / IP services, voice services, TDM services, etc. , the EPON system provides the necessary QoS mechanism to ensure that the QoS of various priority services can be provided according to the SLA agreement in the uplink and downlink directions, wherein:

[0027] The user-side service interface types of the ONU can include: multiple 10 / 100M adaptive Ethernet interfaces supporting data services, multiple POTS interfaces supporting VoIP voice services, and multiple E1 interfaces supporting TDM private line services, corresponding to a typical For MDU / MTU type ...

Abstract

The invention provides multi-service bandwidth allocation method and device in a passive optical network of the Ethernet. A system comprises an OLT (optical line terminal), and a plurality of ONUs (optical network units) connected with the OLT. The ONUs locally distinguish the type of service flows and allocate different logic link channels according to the type of the service flows. The OLT selects different bandwidth allocation method for the different logic link channels based on the type of the service flows and is used for corresponding service scheduling. The ONUs are used for corresponding local service scheduling according to the bandwidth allocation method. The ONUs can further identify attribute of a user group of the service flow. The OLT and the OUNs can reasonably schedule services according to characteristics of the user group so as to meet the requirements for user bandwidth or service application. For the ONUs of multi-dwelling unit/multi-tenant unit types, the multi-service bandwidth allocation method and device overcome the limitation in multi-user and multi-service applications.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention relates to the technical field of communication, in particular to a service bandwidth allocation method in an EPON (Ethernet Passive Optical Network) system and a device thereof. Background technique [0002] PON (Passive Optical Network) system is an ideal solution for multi-service bearer and high-bandwidth multimedia service access network technology. PON technologies mainly include EPON and GPON, and the main difference lies in the adoption of different Layer 2 technologies. Among them, EPON realizes the perfect combination of Ethernet technology and PON technology, and becomes a broadband access technology very suitable for IP services, but how to ensure the QoS (Quality of Service) of various broadband services transmitted on EPON is a potential technical problem. [0003] For an EPON network system, it can carry multiple broadband services including IP (Ethernet) services, voice services, TDM services, and CATV services at the same...
