Embodiment Construction

[0025] Hereinafter, embodiments of the present invention will be described in detail with reference to the drawings.

[0026] Such as Figure 1~Figure 3 As shown, the rotary damper 1 of the first embodiment has a cylindrical casing 2 and a rotor 3 partially accommodated in the casing 2 . The axes of the housing 2 and the rotor 3 are arranged coaxially, and coincide with the axis A serving as the rotation shaft of the rotary damper 1 . Hereinafter, the direction along the axis A is referred to as the axis direction.

[0027] The casing 2 includes a bottomed cylindrical casing base 8 and a disc-shaped casing cover 9, one end of the cylindrical side peripheral wall 6 of the casing base 8 in the axial direction is closed by a bottom plate 7, and the other end is open, and the casing cover 9 The open end of the housing base 8 is closed. The housing base 8 and the housing cover 9 are formed of resin. At the opening end of the side peripheral wall 6 of the housing base 8 , a fitt...

Abstract

The invention provides a rotary damper capable of arbitrarily setting the rotation range of a rotor, wherein the resistance changes corresponding to the rotation direction. The rotary damper (1) comprises: a damper shell (2) with a liquid chamber (10) filled with viscous fluid; and the rotor (3) with a rotor axle (21) and a blade (22). The rotary damper (1) is characterized in that: the blade extends from the rotor axle along the first direction (B) and comprises a socket (36), wherein when viewed from the direction of the rotor axle (A), the socket is perforated relative to the third direction (D) inclining relative to the second direction (C) orthogonal to the first direction, and a valve (40) is slidably supported on the socket along the third direction, when the rotor rotates, the valve is pressed by the viscous fluid and slides along the third direction, thus the valve displaces along the first direction, therefore a channel between the blade and the damper shell is formed along the first direction at an opening/closing state.

Description

technical field [0001] The present invention relates to a rotary damper in which a rotor is rotatably supported in a case enclosing a viscous fluid, and flow resistance of the viscous fluid acts on the rotation of the rotor. Background technique [0002] A known rotary damper has a cylindrical housing having a liquid chamber in which a viscous fluid is sealed, and a rotor rotatably supported by the housing, and damps the rotation of the rotor by the resistance of the viscous fluid. The rotor includes: a rotor shaft whose inner end is housed in the liquid chamber and whose outer end protrudes to the outside of the casing; and vanes (rotor blades) which protrude radially outward from the outer peripheral surface of the portion of the rotor shaft located in the liquid chamber. The outer end of the rotor shaft is connected to a rotating part (gear, etc.) that should dampen the rotation. When the rotor rotates, the viscous fluid passes through the channels formed between the bla...
