The embodiment of the invention discloses a backlight module which comprises a base and a plurality of LED (Light Emitting Diode) lamp strips, wherein the LED lamp strips are uniformly arranged on the base and comprise a circuit and a plurality of LED lamp beads arranged on the circuit board; the quantity of the LED lamp beads on each LED lamp strip is identical; the spaces among various LED lamp beads on the same LED lamp strip are identical; the spaces between the LED lamp beads on any two adjacent LED lamp strips are different; and in addition, the density of the LED lamp beads at two side ends of the backlight module is smaller than that of the middle LED lamp bead. According to the backlight module disclosed by the embodiment of the invention, the uniform staggered arrangement of the LED lamp beads is realized by arranging a plurality of LED lamp strips provided with the LED lamp beads with different spaces in a parallel and staggered manner; and meanwhile, a plurality of pyramid structures are arranged on a reflecting surface of a lens, so that multiple reflection / refraction of light is realized.
