Abstract

The invention discloses a lightning rod with a twin-ion ESE (early streamer emission) lightning protection system. The twin-ion ESE lightning protection system mainly comprises a lightning rod assembly and a holder assembly. The lightning rod assembly comprises a master rod assembly and a slave rod assembly. The master rod assembly further comprises a master rod body and a master rod disposed at the upper end of the master rod body. The slave rod assembly is disposed below the master rod assembly and further comprises a slave rod body and a plurality of slave rods arranged above the slave rod body. The holder assembly is disposed below the lighting rod assembly. By the design of the slave rod assembly, the slave pins are circularly arranged at the lateral edge of the master pin of the twin-ion ESE lightning protection system. Lateral lightning stroke is prevented by twin-ion ESE, so that omnibearing lightning stroke prevention is achieved.
