Abstract

The invention discloses a content publish method and system with a dynamic adjusting and optimizing function. The system relates to a content management system and an edge content delivery system. According to the basic theory of the method, publish of each content is taken as a publish task with property; the content management system requests the edge content delivery system for content publish, which is called task dispatch; the edge content delivery system acquires published contents, which is called task execution; during task dispatch, the content management system sets a priority level for each publish task; after the edge content delivery system receives the publish task, the publish task is added into a task queue and the tasks are sequentially executed according to the publish priority level from high to low; moreover, the edge content delivery system dynamically adjusts the priority levels of the tasks according to the request density of a user for the contents; and when the priority level of a task, which is higher than that of the currently executed task, exists in the task queue, the currently executed task is paused, and the task with the higher priority level is executed. Compared with the prior art, the method has the advantage that the online time of the contents can be shortened.
