Abstract

The invention relates to a system and a method of external interactive intercommunication based on radio-frequency technique. The system comprises a radio frequency remote controller, an RF (Radio Frequency) module, a signal separator and a local side gateway. The RF module is used for transmitting radio frequency signals, and communicates with the radio frequency remote controller and the local side gateway in a wireless signal manner. The signal separator is used for separating CATV signal and descending signal and simultaneously emitting the signals out through an antenna for descending data, and is used for collecting the signals to the local side gateway through an antenna for upstream data. The local side gateway is used for converting network signal sent from a server and carrying out mix output with the CATV signal for the descending signal, and is used for converting the signal into Ethernet signal and sending to the server for the upstream data. The system and the method provide a convenient and reliable video-on-demand solution with low power consumption, low cost and good user experience for bidirectional rebuilding of cable television network.
