Problems solved by technology

[0003] (1) Mobility issues: IP protocol design did not initially consider the support for terminal mobility. There are two solutions to solve mobility problems in the existing network. One is terminal-based solutions, such as mobile IP (Mobile IP). The switching time of such schemes is relatively long, requiring terminal modification, which increases the terminal processing load; the second is network-based schemes, such as 3GPP schemes
This kind of scheme has an anchor point, and the fixed anchor point brings the problem of roundabout path of data packets, which increases the transmission delay and bandwidth waste
[0004] (2) Security issues: mainly manifested when individual users, network operators and government departments suffer from viruses, DOS attacks and illegal information dissemination, etc.
[0005] (3) The scalability of the routing system: the current operators have not proposed a satisfactory solution to the scalability of the routing system
In general, standard IP tunnels (such as GRE) need to be generated through manual configuration. If this is the case, a GRE tunnel needs to be generated for each mapping entry of . General system equipment supports GRE tunnels The capacity is very limited, and the conventional support capacity is below 8k, but the mapping entries of may reach millions as the number of mobile users increases. At this time, the carrying capacity of ASR and ISR will face a huge test

Embodiment Construction

[0068] The methods for implementing network interworking by extending the general routing encapsulation technology include:

[0069] When the message intercommunication between the identification network and the public network or the internal message intercommunication of the identification network is carried out, after the source router receives the IP message, it adds the access identifier (AID) in the IP message to the IP message. The corresponding exchange routing identifier (RID) is used as the RID header (the RID header refers to the GRE tunnel outer layer IP encapsulation RID address), and the GRE header indicating that the identification network is connected to the general routing encapsulation (GRE) network is added to form an extended encapsulation message to send to the destination router;

[0070] After the target router receives the extended encapsulation message, after judging that the RID in the RID header of the extended encapsulation message corresponds to the...

Abstract

The invention provides a method and a system achieving network intercommunication by extending a generic routing encapsulation technology. When message intercommunication is carried out between an identification network and a public network or in the interior of the identification network, after a source router receives an internet protocol (IP) message, a refractive index detector (RID) corresponding to AID in the IP message is added on the IP message as a RID head, and a GRE head which is used for accessing an indicated identification network into a GRE network is added to form an extended encapsulation message which is sent to a target router. After the target router receives the extended encapsulation message, and whether the RID of the RID head in the extended encapsulation message corresponds to a local address is judged, whether the indication that the GRE head with the identification network in the extended encapsulation message accesses into the GRE network is judged, the RID head of the extended encapsulation message is directly eliminated and the GRE head acquires and transmits the IP message. The method can greatly improve the processing capacity of the device, and an automatic send-receiver (ASR), an interrupt service routine (ISR) and an ILR can directly carry out a tunnel encapsulation according to according to a (RID, AID) mapping table term.

Description

technical field [0001] The present invention relates to communication identification network technology, and more specifically, relates to a method and system for realizing network intercommunication by extending Generic Routing Encapsulation (GRE for short) technology. Background technique [0002] The existing Internet has been widely used, but due to the defects of the basic protocol IP protocol used by it, the problems existing in the operator's IP network have not been fundamentally resolved, and have restricted the development of services. Mainly manifested in: [0003] (1) Mobility issues: IP protocol design did not initially consider the support for terminal mobility. There are two solutions to solve mobility problems in the existing network. One is terminal-based solutions, such as mobile IP (Mobile IP). The switching time of such schemes is relatively long, requiring terminal modification, which increases the terminal processing load; the second is network-based s...
