An information display device comprises: a display unit and a front face panel. The display unit comprises a display panel and a drive circuit section. The drive circuit section is arranged at the rear face side of this display panel and displays information on the aforementioned display panel. The front face panel (1) is arranged at the display face side of the display panel of the display unit and is larger than the external dimensions of this display panel. The front face panel (1) has a shape that is formed with radiusing at its four corners and is provided with an elongate flexible ornamental member (2) wound thereon so as to cover the entire outer peripheral edge face on the four sides of the display unit, including the outer peripheral edge face of the front face panel (1). The ornamental member (2) comprises an adhesive layer (21) that is adhesively fixed to the outer peripheral edge face of the display unit so as to adhere to the outer peripheral edge face of the front face panel (1). With this construction, without increasing weight or increasing costs, there can be provided an information display device in which safety and design characteristics and strength are secured, in order to protect the glass front face panel.
