Abstract

The invention discloses a nine-ball computer-assisted detection identification method and belongs to the field of digital image processing. The method aims to solve a technical problem of performing real-time multi-target positioning and identification on a table according to video data. The method includes the following steps: using background color gaussian probability modeling to perform rough target detection so as to filter part of interferences; then based on edge detection, performing edge detection of three algorithms on filtered targets, wherein each algorithm relates to two layers of thresholds; using an edge detection result to perform Hough-conversion for circle center detection and determining sequentially the sphere center of each target; and finally, using a color European distance to calculate the difference of detected targets and color centers so as to obtain the color of each target and achieve identification of the targets.
