The convenience service system comprises a human-computer interaction terminal used for receiving instructions input by residents, a recognition device used for recognizing identity information of the residents, an acquisition device used for acquiring resident information and a backstage server used for control processing, wherein the recognition device and the acquisition device are respectively connected with the backstage server through the human-computer interaction terminal. After identity card information of the residents are recognized and verified through the second-generation identity card recognition device, relevant resident information of the residents provided according to relevant business needing to be handled are acquired through an identity card scanner, a pinhole camera or a high-speed image camera and uploaded to the backstage server, the relevant resident information provided by the residents are read and checked through the backstage server, and thus the work procedures for handling relevant business are simplified, the workload is reduced, meanwhile, the residents can provide relevant resident information more conveniently according to relevant business needing to be handled, and time is saved for the residents.
