Abstract

A method for controlling a refrigerator includes driving a compressor, operating a switching valve to allow a refrigerant to flow into at least one main expansion valve, opening a cool air passage connecting a refrigerating compartment to a main evaporator to cool the refrigerating compartment, operating the switching valve to switching a flow direction of the refrigerant into at least one deep-freezing expansion valve when a temperature of the refrigerating compartment is cooled to a temperature lower than a set temperature, thereby cooling the deep-freezing storage chamber, and operating the heater.

Description

[0001] Cross References to Related Applications [0002] This application claims priority from Korean Patent Application No. 10-2013-0031037 filed on March 22, 2013, the entire contents of which are incorporated herein by reference. technical field [0003] The invention relates to a control method for a refrigerator. Background technique [0004] A refrigerator, as a household appliance for storing food in a low-temperature state, may include a refrigerating chamber for storing food in a refrigerated state and a freezing chamber for storing food in a frozen state. [0005] Recently, there is an increasing demand for a refrigerator having a separate storage compartment for cooling food to an ultra-low temperature in a short time. In order to achieve the above object, the following structure has been proposed in the past: a separate ultra-cold storage room is provided inside the freezer, and cold air from the evaporation room is independently supplied to the ultra-cold stora...
