Abstract

The embodiment of the disclosure discloses a video information sharing method and device. The method includes the following steps: a server receives description information, sent by a first client, of a video; and the description information is sent to a second client which has a friend relation with the first client so that the second client plays the video according to the received description information. In the method, the server is capable of sending description information, sent by a last terminal, of a video to another terminal so as to realize spread of the description information from one terminal to another terminal and thus spread of the video information is no longer limited between the server and the terminals and playing conditions of videos can also be timely shared by the terminals so that a pushing and sharing mechanism of the video information between the terminals is formed, a faster spreading speed is brought for the video information and the utilization rate of video resources is improved significantly.
