The sex attractant is characterized by comprising cis-11-hexaolefine aldehyde, cis-13-octaolefine aldehyde, cis-9-hexaolefine aldehyde and phenylacetaldehyde, wherein the weight ratio of the four above components is 48:(1 to 50):(1 to 50):(1 to 100), further comprising one or more antioxidants such as hindered phenol antioxidanst, phosphite ester antioxidants and sulfo-antioxidants, and further comprising a high molecular weight hindered amine anti-ultraviolet light stabilizer or a low molecular weight hindered amine anti-ultraviolet light stabilizer. The sex attractant has the beneficial effects that a great deal of field trials show that the trapping and killing effect of the chilo suppressalis sex attractant can be greatly improved due to addition of phenylacetaldehyde, the trapping amount is large, the attraction effect is stable, and the problems that the conventional chilo suppressalis sex pheromone prevention and treatment effect is poor and the cost is too high are solved; the sex attractant is simple and safe to use, is relatively low in cost, can be used for predicting, broadcasting, preventing and treating chilo suppressalis, and has relatively good social and ecological benefits.
