The lure core is mounted on the inner top surface of the lure core hood, and the lure core hood is mounted on the support and provided with a downward opening. A high-efficiency method of 
trapping the male adults of rice leafroller includes: adjusting a connecting part of the high-efficiency trap, and allowing a distance from the lower edge of the lure core hood to the surface of water in the basin to be no more than 2cm. Emission of sex 
pheromone can be effectively controlled through the 'lure core hood', the sex 
pheromone is led be close to the water surface to emit, the 
flying height of a moth around the lure core is reduced, and possibility that the moth is stuck is increased, and 
trapping efficiency is improved. In addition, the high-efficiency trap has the advantages that labor of setting up a conventional basin trap can be omitted, and the basin trap is reserved. Using the high-efficiency trap can evidently improve the efficiency of 
trapping the male adults of rice leafroller, saves time and labor, improve the 
resource utilization rate, and make it possible that the sex 
pheromone is used for standard collection and transmission.
