Abstract

The invention discloses an energy scheduling method by which new energy can be efficiently used and a heterogeneous node device for assisting in realizing the method. A load is scheduled under a condition of a low load according to a characteristic that the load on a server is not uniform within 24 hours a day; a requirement for energy consumption within the low-load time period is reduced, so that the demand for the energy consumption of the whole system within the day is reduced. The load scheduling relates to a load distribution strategy between heterogeneous nodes; furthermore, finite new energy collected by ways of wind energy, solar energy and the like can be used in the most efficient manner. Two utilization points of the new energy are provided; firstly, in a high-load time period, a demand for conventional electric energy when the highest load reaches a peak value is reduced, and a peak clipping effect is achieved; secondly, the solar energy is used as much as possible within the time period of high electric charge in a day, namely the use value of the solar energy is increased according to peak-valley time-of-use tariff, so that the energy consumption and the electric charge of the server are reduced for a service provider.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention belongs to the technical field of big data, and more specifically relates to a heterogeneous server system of a data center and an energy scheduling method thereof. Background technique [0002] In the era of big data, the speed of data growth continues to increase, and the amount of data in data centers is growing explosively. For example, Google operates at least forty data centers around the world. The amount of calculation and processing of data has also increased dramatically. Based on this background, data center service providers have to face soaring energy consumption and electricity bills, such as Google (annual energy consumption>1120GWh, electricity bill>$67M), Google (annual energy consumption>600GWh, electricity bill>$36M). The direct problem brought about by high energy consumption is serious environmental pollution. The carbon emissions of the IT industry account for 2% of the global carbon emissions. Nowaday...
