Appropriate laserpulse energy and defocusing distance are selected according to the material and thickness of a sample; precious metalornaments are corroded by pulse laser in single points; the primary treatment procedure of the sample is simplified; the corroded material of the metalornaments is detected by using an inductively coupled plasma source massspectrometer; a time-resolved figure of an isotope is detected by collecting respective elements; the true and false precious metal ornaments can be known by analyzing the time-solved figure; and the purity of the precious metal can be accurately obtained by standardless analysis. The method has the advantages that the time required for the overall corrosion and signal collection processes is 1-2 minutes; the detection speed is high; in addition, the laser strength is not reduced due to increase of corrosion depth; misjudgment due to the fact that the sample cannot be fully corroded due to over-thickness is avoided; the method is not limited by coating or plating thickness; the identification accuracy is high; the corrosiondiameter is 30-80 microns; and the appearance of a solid sample is in a good shape at the macro level.
