Abstract

The invention discloses a traditional Chinese medicine fumigant for treating infant bronchitis. The traditional Chinese medicine believes that disease roots are located on the lungs and kidneys, the pathogenesis is caused by lung ventilation failure or lowering and deficiency of kidney qi failing to control respiring qi, and stagnation caused by phlegmatic hygrosis is the most important pathological product generated in the pathogenesis link. Therefore, the fumigant is prepared by soaking and decocting the traditional Chinese medicines including ternateleaf rabdosia herbs, gerbera piloselloides, bog starwort herbs, himalayan willowweed herbs, himalayan prinsepia roots, symplocos sumunlia, pink reineckea herbs and folium sauropi which have the effects of dispersing lungs, relieving asthma and stopping cough. Clinical experiments prove that the total effective rate is up to 86.0% which is remarkably higher than 70.0% of a control group; the traditional Chinese medicine fumigant is free of side effects; and the treating method is simple.
