Abstract

The embodiment of the invention provides a method and a device for processing forwarding path in a TRILL network. The method comprises the following steps: receiving a first protocol message transmitted from a second RB through a first route bridge RB, wherein the first protocol message comprises an attribute identifier, and the attribute identifier is used for indicating that the maximum bandwidth of the second RB is smaller than a preset bandwidth threshold; requiring a first forwarding path for the first RB; acquiring a second forwarding path through the first RB according to the attribute identifier and the first forwarding path, the second forwarding route does not comprise the second RB as a transmission node. By adopting the technical scheme provided by the embodiment of the invention, problems of link congestion and data packet loss caused by the fact that a RB with poor bandwidth capacity is used as a transmission node in the TRILL network are solved.
