Abstract

The present invention relates to the field of mobile communications. Disclosed are a method and device for constructing a wireless local area network based on near field communication (NFC). The method comprises: a first mobile terminal establishes an NFC link with a second mobile terminal; the first mobile terminal transmits a request to the second mobile terminal via the NFC link for obtaining the wireless parameter information of the second mobile terminal; the first mobile terminal receives via the NFC link the wireless parameter information containing access point (AP) information transmitted by the second mobile terminal in response to the request; the first mobile terminal is wirelessly connected to the AP of the second mobile terminal by using the wireless parameter information containing AP information, thus constructing a wireless local area network and transmitting data over the constructed wireless local area network. The invention achieves automatic construction of a wireless local area network and solves the problems of complex process of traditional construction of a wireless local area network and poor usability or low transmission efficiency of a traditionally constructed wireless local area network.
