Embodiment Construction

[0042] The method of the present invention will be further described in detail below in conjunction with the accompanying drawings and specific embodiments.

[0043] The embodiment of the multipath TCP congestion control method based on continuous message marking is applied to a data center network. Such as figure 1 As shown, the topology structure of the data center network includes a three-layer switching architecture, which are the access layer TO, the aggregation layer AG, and the core layer CO. The CO at the core layer includes multiple core switches, which can provide multiple available paths for data transmission between different servers in the network and increase the bandwidth of shared links. figure 1 There are two paths from server A to server B.

[0044] The embodiment of the multipath TCP congestion control method based on continuous message marking, the specific steps are as follows:

[0045] Ⅰ. The switch adds a congestion mark

[0046] The switch uses rand...

Abstract

The invention provides a multipath TCP (transmission control protocol) congestion control method based on continuous message marks. The multipath TCP congestion control method based on the continuous message marks comprises the following steps of adding congestion marks on outputted messages by using an exchanger when a buffer queue length is greater than a mark threshold value K; confirming message feedback congestion marks by using a receiver server; receiving confirmed messages and confirming a message matrix MTi by using a transmitter server according to mark updating; calculating the sum of variable quantities of the matrix in a time bucket T; calculating a congestion factor alpha if the sum of the variable quantities of the matrix in the time bucket T is greater than a congestion threshold value theta; proportionally reducing congestion windows according to the alpha under the condition that the alpha is smaller than or equal to 1/2; transmitting mark locations of congestion window reduction of the messages; and increasing the congestion windows according to a coupled growing algorithm if the value in the specification is not greater than theta or the confirmed messages do not have congestion marks. Congestion state information of paths can be accurately fed back to a transmitter within an RTT (round-trip time), the congestion windows are reduced in a restraint manner proportionally, various links are utilized sufficiently, implementation of multipath transmission is guaranteed, and the multipath TCP congestion control method is suitable for a data center network of a multipath framework.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention relates to the technical field of data center networks, in particular to a multi-path TCP congestion control method based on continuous message marking in the data center network. Background technique [0002] The data center network is composed of tens of thousands of servers interconnected through commercial switches, providing network services for enterprises and institutions. It has the characteristics of high bandwidth, low delay, large traffic scale and strong burst. The data center network adopts a multi-level network architecture. The server is located at the bottom layer, and the commercial switches are located upwards, which are divided into access layer, aggregation layer and core layer in turn. The topology of the multi-level network architecture of the data center network can provide multiple available paths between servers at the same time. For example, in a multi-level tree (Fat-Tree) architecture, two servers located betw...
