According to the traditional Chinese medicines, the traumatic knee joint stiffness is caused by traumas and operations and can damage main and collateral channels and cause stagnation of qi and blood, meridian blocking, muscle and bone malnutrition, tendon and vessel contracture and flexion and extension disadvantages. Accordingly, traditional Chinese medicines including sargentgloryvine stems, ardisia maculosa, capitellate hedyotis herbs, greywhitehair raspberry root and leaf, cliff stenosolenium herb, verbena, the roots of bidentate achyranthes, curious kadsura root or stems, diels's millettia roots, schisandra propinqua and snakeroots are selected for preparing the fumigant; and clinical tests show that the total effective rate is 92% and is obviously superior to the rate, being 60%, of a control group.
