Abstract

Provided is an electric bed which can inhibit that a user of the electric bed is frightened by a sudden motion, when a bed board of the electric bed moves by operating an operating part. The electric bed (10) comprises a bed board (20), an adjusting mechanism (30) which adjusts the attitude and height of the bed board, and an operating part (40) for sending an operating command to the adjusting mechanism. The operating part comprises: an operation panel (42) containing an operating button (43), a sound output part (45), and a control part (46) which controls the sound output part and the adjusting mechanism according to operation of the operation panel. When the operating button is continuously pressed, the control part enables the sound output part to start to output sound corresponding to the operating button, and sends an action command corresponding to the operating button to the adjusting mechanism. During the process of outputting the sound, when the operating button is released, the control part enables the sound output part to stop outputting the sound, and stops sending the action command corresponding to the operating button to the adjusting mechanism.
