The method comprises the steps that island state and network operation signals which are determined by a converter station island discriminating device are delivered to a converter station secure device through a cable in a switch manner; the converter station secure device receives the signals, and determined island state, network operation and direct current outage signals are delivered to a power station secure device through an optical fiber in a digital manner; the power station secure device converts the received digital signals into switch signals, and delivers the switch signals to a power station island information delivery device through the cable; and the digital signals received by the power station island information delivery device are delivered in two manners. A power station island actuator converts the received digital signals into switch signals, and delivers the switch signals to a power station unit excitation regulator and a unit speed governor through the cable. A power station switch station monitoring system converts the received switch signals into digital signals, and delivers the digital signals to a power station monitoring host computer through the optical fiber. According to the invention, the island signals are delivered to the speed governor and excitation, monitoring and other systems; quick response is realized; and safe and stable operation of each system is ensured.
