Problems solved by technology

[0016] However, both of the above solutions impose a load on the client or server
In the case of commonly used server thread execution scheme, when processing multiple services at the same time, some services may not be completely terminated depending on the performance of the thread-dependent application
Also, even in the case where the client waits for the scheme, another service may not be provided depending on the performance of the client, or the corresponding service may be completed abnormally
[0017] As described above, the situation that the service processing is impossible or abnormally completed may degrade the quality of the telematics service, thereby causing complaints from customers

Embodiment Construction

[0041] Hereinafter, embodiments will be described in detail with reference to the accompanying drawings so that those skilled in the art can easily utilize the embodiments.

[0042] The present invention relates to a telematics service system for a vehicle and a method thereof that implement telematics services in a synchronous scheme, wherein when a service request is generated from a client, processing of requesting a corresponding service is performed in two steps so that the client and Server-generated load is reduced, thereby minimizing system load.

[0043] Such as Figure 4As shown in , the telematics service system according to the embodiment of the present invention may include a client 1 , a server 2 and a vehicle telematics unit 3 .

[0044] The client 1 is a portable terminal that requests a service from the vehicle telematics unit 3 through the server 2 . A user can request a service by using a portable terminal.

[0045] For example, in order to remotely contr...

Abstract

The invention discloses an automotive remote information processing system and a method thereof. A system load can be minimized through reducing a load which is generated at a client and a server in processing a remote information processing service according to a synchronous communication plan. The automotive remote information processing system comprises the components of a client which transmits a secondary service request for requesting the service when a primary response which corresponds a primary authentication request that is transmitted for a service authentication; the server which transmits the primary response for the primary authentication request and receives the secondary service request for transmitting the secondary service request to an automotive remote information processing unit; and the automotive remote information processing unit which receives the secondary service request from the server and transmits a secondary response for the secondary service request to the client through the server.

Description

technical field [0001] The present invention relates to a telematics service system for vehicles and a method thereof. More particularly, the present invention relates to a telematics service system for a vehicle and a method thereof, capable of reducing the load that can be generated on a client and a server when a telematics service is processed in a synchronous communication scheme. Background technique [0002] Telematics is a wireless data service provided while transportation equipment such as vehicles, airplanes and ships is in motion. In particular, telematics services for vehicles to which mobile communication technology and location tracking technology (GPS) are applied have been widely used. [0003] In the case of telematics services for vehicles, the user installs the corresponding application program to his portable terminal and executes the application program, making it possible to remotely control several functions of the vehicle through a wireless network ...
